| q is for quirks 2007-01-23 ch 1,   | you wrote this around the same time you wrote the other murder piece, didn't you? it's got that same eerie feel to it. it's still creepy, but it's really good. the way how the lines are first are normal, and then italicized, it's like it's two very different times colliding at once. like that sick little math problem about figuring out when two trains would "meet" AKA crash into each other. *rolls eyes* anyways. i like how the mood seems to go from generally calm and eased to more frantic, like the murder you're describing, and then it goes calm again, but it's like the calm you get after a really huge storm, not exactly peaceful, you know? anyways, great job. |
