| Osunale 2007-01-24 ch 1,  | abuseI love this. Simply love. The ohs threaded throughout end so perfectly with that final 'no.' Intense, exhilerating, painfully charming. Excellent poem. I can't remember the last time I was this impressed with a new poet, and even with that I think that you're still far from the level of the best poets on this site, if only because of how underdeveloped these poems seem: there is so much more that you could add, so much more to be said. Don't take that negatively: what impresses me about you is your voice, how natural this poetry seems to come, to fit. I would love to see what you can do outside of the love/angst category as well. These poems are a glimpse into a fiercely poetic mind, and I look forward to seeing much more from you because, my goodness, you do have amazing potential to grow beautifully. I'm adding you to my favorites and will certainly be back. |
