| Osunale 2007-01-26 ch 1,   | This is a fascinating piece. It makes me want to flinch away, but draws me in with its intensity. So cruel, so bitter in this self-serving destruction. The blunt language is incredibly powerful: "I ** me raw" is filled with an incredible raging torrent of emotion, as is the entire poem. "Rape is never so easy as when you/are raping yourself" is just so...it wants to leave me speechless. What horrifying abandon plays through the language... The title is perfectly and vividly fitting. |
