I think the whole world should wear uniforms that way people couldn't complain how someone else looked.

Your essay is entirely true. Although it is difficult to, I try to laugh at my imperfections and dress and act as I please. I find a certain comfort from other people who embrace their imperfections and don't care what others think.

ch 1,
very well written, and i agree with you, but i feel like you judged people too quickly. i feel like you categorized sensitive and insecure people as members of the great unwashed. i don't mean to flame whatsoever, i thoroughly enjoyed for essay, but maybe that's something to think about.

The depth of the explanations, and reasonings is wonderful. I agree greatly that appearance guides too much of our thoughts and actions. Ideally people wouldn't be so judgemental, but ideal worlds usually exist outside the realm of humanity. The points that you've made are strong and relatable. People should always see the beauty in themselves with the imperfections, because ultimately it is these imperfections that make us distinct and individualized. If the world was made up of cookie cutter picture perfect people, then the world would be fairly boring. For the most part, we are more judgemental about ourselves than others are of us. We may think people are noticing our flaws, but in reality other people are more worried about people noticing their flaws to really be as scrutinizing as we believe they are being. All in all, people should be comfortable with themselves. Appearance is somewhat temporary. We all age, and change, and become less focused on outward appearances. Hopefully. This brings up alot of socially relevant points, and issues. I like your conclusions. Very well written. MD:77.
