I love the juxtaposition of the faithful angel and the amoral demon here - the faith in God and the (hinted at) macabre killing of his master. Just one thing that stood out; 'athletic beefcakes' - this really does sound crude, and not at all fitting with the elegance of Marcus. Try replacing the 'beefcakes' with 'thugs' or another word. The slang undertones just don't work, in my opinion, with Marcus. That's just my opinion, though. Please write more! Soon. |
