| the sacred night 2007-04-10 ch 1, | abuseI like the idea of taking a different angle from a traditional story, but if you are going to change the story this much, we need a lot more details to help us understand it on your terms. I mean, I get the basic plot, but the emotions need more exploration. The dialogue isn't very believeable for this reason; you have people declare what they feel too openly for it to be realistic. Real people beat around the bush, they say um, they lie, they half lie, they sidestep the issue completely, and sometimes they don't answer at all when someone speaks to them. They don't just bare their souls all neatly tied up into one sentence. |
