I really enjoyed this. I'm happy that the fact that Matt was in a wheelchair wasn't really the main point of the story and that there wasn't a bunch of gaggingly pathetic "I just want to take care of you!" feelings from Abe. Instead, it was just a story about two guys, one who happened to be disabled. (Though perhaps there should have been more of a hint about the grieving and depression that Matt should have gone through after the accident. He is bitter about it, but I never got the sense that he had had the huge struggle over the realization of his situation that is the usual reaction when one suffers such a drastic change in life and ability.)

Anyway, thanks for a morning of entertaining reading!

However, I'm stupefied that there's nothing about feeling coming back into his legs. That's major, and the whole "being in a wheel-chair" does tend to influence one's life greatly.

The story was great, of course there were moments where Matt ** me off because in my opinion he apologized for no reason and the ending was a little abrupt(I wanted more!). Other than that a brilliant story. I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing. I am even glad Matt stayed in the wheelchair, it kind of became him. They were both a little schizo but I love your characters. Great JOB!!

as always your stories leave me spellbound. really i dunno what to write, where to start from to convey how much i enjoy reading your work. well my favourite character was abe, although mick was quite an amusing character as well.

the best part of this for me was how hard they were both trying to be together despite themselves, and neither of them knowing what exactly they wanted. and for the first time ever i actually didn't get annoyed when one of the two main characters slept with somebody else during the course of the main romance. i had to highlight that because usually it seems the author put it in to create an issue between protagonists, therefore rendering one or both - as well as the author - as stupid, but here, i thought, well what else would abe do? it was completely in character which was just amazing.

Yay! ^^ Everything worked out in the end! There was a lot of twist and turns along the way, but the end result was very worth it. Kudos!

*grinning* Abe makes me laugh, he really does. This chapter was to die for.
