Reviews For: Die For You
The Postscript 2007-01-30 . chapter 1
Beautiful work. I have tried writing songs before and found they are not my forte, so please take this review half-heartedly. The flow is sometimes a barrier, and sometimes it is not. The loose rhyming feels right, though. This really reminds me, not necessarily of love, but even those people we simply make eye contact with during the day who return eye contact with a smile. Or even people we are just grateful for.

There is a girl many years ago who stood up for me when no one else would. I shall never forget her name or her face, and every time I cross paths with her (though I can't say she even knows my name or remembers her act of kindness towards me), I feel grateful for what she did for me, a stranger, now, to her.

Your poem reminds me of these ever so slight connections we have with people that provide a tiny speck of hope that might, with time, grow so that we may someday return kindness to them. Absolutly wonderful work. Keep writing, k.
