oh man, I totally agree with most of the things you have here! Especially writing, I'm so addicted to writing and reading. Books do smell wonderful. I love to smell new books. I also agree with the ideas thing. I love the rush I get when a poem appears in my mind. It's so satisfying to write it down, see the lines form, and know that it's something I just came up with.
