This hits first as a blooming narrative, then pushes into gorgeous sight. "On some nights, Schubert was summoned"
is almost off-handedly conversational, yet the follow-up not everyday image of "yellowed codex repainted sable" gives it an elevated spin. The last stanza is wonderful. Excellent.
The scene that is created is very visual, due to the specific descriptions. I like the atmosphere of this work. It stands relatable to the reader, but holds onto a subtle form of mystery that the reader isn't privy to. I also like how the natural elements are used to enhance the emotion. Very well written. Good write. MD:77.
