Stunning story...and some elements hit a bit close to home in some respects. It has a really bittersweet tinge to it that leaves the reader with a sort of...well...lost feeling because the end doesn't evoke hope or worry or concern, it just simply IS. I like that Frey is so focused on his work and his 'messy' methods sound kind of like the way I do art :) so it made me smile. Great read.

Wow...that sure was expressive. How an illness can change people. It's good their love is strong. Brian seems to be a very nice guy and Frey is cute. He kind of reminds me of myself when I'm reading *GET OUT! I'M BUSY* XD (in this case without the *get out* though^^)

Oh my gosh... this is so sad. I love how the sorrow in it is so subtle, but still evident. Just after this short little thing I love the characters, especially Frey. Great job.

This story is sweet, but reather sad at the same time.

Leaves one with a lot to think about, though - Like, what is Frey sick with? Is it something he's going to die of? how soon? What is the mural of? Etc. But it's kind of good that way. The story has a feel like it's not supposed to answer your every question.

But yeah. Short, bittersweet, rather poignant if you stop to think about it. I like it.

On another note, I hope you feel better soon, in a largely not-physical so much as general-well-being sort of way. It may sound silly, since I'm just some random person who likes your writing, but all the same I'm sorry to hear things aren't going so well for you.

This reminds me of one of my friends. Her brother was going to college and then all of a sudden he had schizophrenia. This seems like a similar situation, I'm taking it?

It was nice. . . . Sorta sad, but not really, you know? Fairly vague, but that just adds to it.

Aw, this story makes me sad. It says it's a one shot, and it's kind of perfect that way, but all the same it's frustrating, because I can see so many hints of a long, lovely, and probably heartwrenching tale in there.

So while I don't hope for a continuation, really (because I've seen people develop one shots, and it often really spoils them) I wish I knew what happened, and how it's all going to end.
