That was cute. I love the word acid; the sound and the connotations of the word are so fierce. Paired with blue, which is a calm color and more soft sounding, is neat. Lol.

My only critique is that I think it would've flowed better if your sentences had the same sort of 'rhythm'. Having mostly long, fluid sentences would've been the way I wrote it, because sentence structure really helps convey the emotions and the mood of the piece.
