When I finished reading this poem, a peculiar sort of word just stuck in my head for a while: precious. The more I think about it, the more that word just doesn't seem to make sense. But I still think this poem was "precious."

It must have been the words "a jar without a firefly" that did it. It makes the poem seem ... innocent. Catching a firefly in a jar is something I always associate with little children, so it gave this poem a sort of, like I said, innocence about it.

I feel truly evil - please don't be mad. I found this in my favorites. And after I promised that I would send reviews to all my favorites (because the author should, of course, KNOW that I liked the poem!), I realized I hadn't yet reviewed this. See? Evil. I can't believe I did that.

I decided to review now, so I hope you're not too mad about that. :)
