The problem with very short pieces is that characterisation suffers accordingly. If I'm being honest, I'm kind of biased against them as they seem to be vague for the sake of being vague.

I got the mythological reference and the allusion to sex at the end. As short pieces go: it was nice. It didn't really impact on me, but I didn't expect it to. Your writing style brought out the imagery nicely, though.
