The Brian-and-Jamie stories you have on your profile are a bit random. Like: what's the point? what's so special about these two and their life together? It all seems a bit superficial. You should explore your characters some more, their relationship, their past, their personalities, their interaction with other people. Bring them to life, and make them special, unique, make their story unique. You need conflict, intrigue, something, anything. Not just two guys meeting each other and falling in love, whatever.
Who's Andy, who's Shawn, who's Jamie, who's Bryan?
I get the impression that YOU know who they are, and that you wrote the stories with that background information in your head, but if you don't state it or even hint at it, the reader doesn't have a clue and the stories come out as lacking.
