| SOMEONE 2007-05-25 ch 27, anon. | abusethough the message and underlying moral of this story seem truly heartfelt, it occurs to the critic's mind that there seems to be a lack of attention to certain vital details. For example; the waffles. the critic is fascinated by this aspect of the story and would like to see aome major extrapolation. What are the consistency of the waffles/ does the main charachter taste the love and hard work of her boyfriend in every bite? what kind of chocolate chips were used? has the charachter ever had them before? if so, where, and under what circumstances? Perhaps the waffles were eaten for breakfast at a friend's sleepover, at which a life- canging revelation occured? or perhaps a more abstract sybolism, such as the sweetness of the character's life, could be inferred here. This author seems to have her writing process under control her, but the critic feels there is much left unsaid. In summary "give us more waffle!" Thank you very much, yours sincerely SOMEONE |
