Ilze09 2007-02-13 . chapter 1Well, your views were easily identifiable in this story. Or, at least the views of a Transcendialist.
I'm glad you included the media in your story. I agree with those views one hundred percent and I'm actually writing a story that will later poke fun at the media. It's called 'It's a Living,' try to check it out if you have time.
Back to the story. I find the character of Sakura to be pretty depressing. I just think it's sad that she had to drop her entire life to go live in the forest just so she could pursue her own individuality. Well, if she's happy and healthy then I guess it's okay but I do think it is possibly to live in current day, corrupt society and also be an individual, although it is impossible to be a complete individual as all human beings have similaritys. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that it should be the jobs of those people who have realized the flaws in society and the wrongness of current media to be part of the change. Maybe it's not possible, maybe it's futile but I think it should be our job to do things out of the ordinary, things regular people would raise their eyebrows at. Whatever it takes to show people that humanity is a diverse race, one that shouldn't take it's individuality for granted.
Anyways, great little story. I hope to read more of your good stuff later. FP really needs for authors that create thought-provoking stories rather than the usual drab.
