I love the way you've worded this. The most striking sentences are the shorter, simpler ones, such as the last line 'Then she closed her eyes and I disappeared forever.' It gives a lot of impact. It's a very melancholy piece of writing, which is great considering that it's so short. Most short pieces I've read don't give out much emotion, but this is packed with it. ^^ |
