Considering I'm a big cynic of Valentine's Day, I can somewhat relate to the main character, Danny, but I end up... coughcoughdroolingcoughcough over Blake. He seems such a sweet and genuine boy... and I'd love to see what decision she eventually comes up with, if you're ever going to finish it. It's definitely something to read! | Lientje46 2007-02-20 ch 1, | abuseHey Louisa, I finally found the time to read this. I have to say that I really like it. I know I keep repeating myself, but you are a really talented writer. You have the ability to make your characters realistic, like they are one of us. Also, it's very easy to like them. I normally have problems with adjusting to a character in the first chapters of a story. You always have to get to know them and it takes time to like them, but I never had that feeling with your stories. I always feel like I "know" your characters after the first few lines. Also, I love how you keep adding this little details like Eminem's divorce and stuff like that. You always do that in your stories and it makes me feel like it's really happening. Yeah, I don't really know how to explain it. :) One thing that I kind of missed was some more background about what happened in detention. I like the characters and where the story is going, but I'm kind of missing "the connection" between the two of them. Anyway, I still really liked it and I'm going to read the second part now.
