Nice imagery and flow. Your last line ties everything together with a pretty (crumpled) red ribbon.

Ah, the typical angsting Valentine's day of a single girl (thank Eru I don't celebrate holidays, I hate V-Day). You dealt with the emotions in the poem fairly well - however, it would be much easier to read if you included grammatical divisions, such as question marks and fullstops where you needed them. Stanzas or some sort of formatting separation might make it easier to read. Other than that, not bad. A bit trite of an idea, but, then again, so is Valentine's day! ;)

i just had my loneliest valentine ever yesterday..i so want to meet the guy of my dreams. hope it's my ex.
