How beautiful and romantic! I loved it; the sinking so deep that everything is magnified to outrageous proportions...maybe like the love for the "you" of the poem...

The only thing I wasn't sure I liked was the adjective "certain" to describe "bristles." I'm not sure I got what image you were trying to create here.
