| jadegreen16 2008-09-15 ch 34, | abuseOh my god, i loved this! This is definately one of my favourites from the series. Your stories are so original, you have the perfect mix of romance and mystery, i can't wait to read hostile kisses, Thank you SKOW! |
| kath 2008-08-09 ch 20, anon. | abuselove the touch of aussie in chap 19 & 20 hehe. pretty good interpretation of the accent too :) |
| kath 2008-08-07 ch 15, anon. | abusei've been reading the whole series, and planned on leaving a review at the end. But i have to say - at this particular moment I truly adore Adam's character. I like that he's so silly yet he cares, it balances caleb out and ah! i just think you have done a spectacular job with characterisation with all of them. :) |
| Kat 2008-07-17 ch 34, anon. | abuseGREAT AMAZING PERFECT STORY! |
| Natalie J. Sawyer 2008-07-16 ch 34, | abuseI held back on leaving a comment until I had finished reading the entire series and I found it so hard to do that because I loved every single chapter of all four stories. Now, what am I going to do with myself? I am sincerely going to miss reading the Moostela stories, and hearing about Adam’s pranks, and Caleb’s drunken demands. Haha. I will keep my eyes out for a very hopeful fifth installment. I think I’m holding back on reading Hostile Kisses. Daisy.. her attitude sort of annoys me somewhat. I may end up reading it though incase there is something in there about Estela and Caleb. In other news, I have my friend reading your stories too. I think she’s half way through ‘Killing Momzillas’ right now.. We have a question to ask, what happened to Trigger? Unless we missed something the little buddle of fluff disappeared somewhere in the early stages of Killing Momzillas. And, unless I am mistaken, didn’t Kyle say he was married or that he had a girlfriend? I was really happy to know that the whole disaster with the Baby Killer (I wont say who, incase some reviews don’t know yet) didn’t affect Estela and Caleb’s wedding. I thought it would have been postponed because of stress, haha. Moo would have had to keep her legs closed for longer then, huh? And Agent Ross and Madam Cherry! I want to hear about those two, I am sure Madam Cherry will have fun with his.. FBI equipment ;] (e.g. handcuffs). I was almost in tears when I was reading about the wedding, and this is the truth, and when Moo came bursting in on her motorized wheelchair! It wouldn’t have been Estela’s happiest day of her life if Moo wasn’t there, I think. Again, I will say that I hope that there is a fifth story planed out because I really love this series and there are just so many more things in the story that I would just love to know how they ended up. I’ll keep my eyes pealed. ~ Natalie P.S. If this series was ever published I’d make sure I was one of the first 100# to get my hands on it! |

| MZ PEACHESZZ 2008-04-08 ch 1, | abuseadding to faves. |
| Em Wolf 2008-04-04 ch 14, anon. | abuseHOly **!! Pardon my french, but holy **! Poor Stela. My heart goes out on her. Just when you think all of her insecurities have been conquered, that tramp ** carmen comes in and ruins everything. Darling, beautiful writing. Absolutely beautiful. Great detail. Great plot. A little holey at some points but nothing noticeable. I especially love Adam and her relationship with him. They're hilarious together, and I love that he's so protective over her. Sorry, this chapter really evoked a lot of emotion. I screamed and yelled and my roommate thought I was being robbed or something lol Great work! |
| AJS 2008-03-02 ch 1, | abuseP.S. (oh my god just drag me away right now!) You probably don't understand HOW GLAD I am that Estela stuck up for herself in this fic and really started putting her foot down (especially since she really needed to, with Caleb kissing Carmen and all). I guess it's because in that sense, I see a lot of myself in Estela, in that we both have a tendency to just brush things off because we just don't want to deal with it and make it into a big deal... but I was really glad and relieved to see that Estela started sticking up for herself more and gaining some confidence. I think that time alone probably did wonders to the growth and development of Estela's characters. Also, one thing that I noticed though I'm not sure if it's intentional on your part, but for all of these stories, it seems like the real plot actually begins to pick up around chapter 20. I, of course, don't complain, because I love everything that comes before that chapter 20 as well, but it was just an observation. I had one more thing to comment about... but it's slipping my mind. Damn it! I hate it when that happens. Oh well. I'm bound to remember sometime. Anyways, as you know, great stories. Love them :) -- Alyssa |
| AJS 2008-03-02 ch 34, | abuseJeez, I don't even know what to do with myself, now that this is all over. I DEFINITELY will be on the look out for any new Moostela stories. I miss Caleb & Estela so much, already. I might hold off on Hostile Kisses for a while, at least till it's done, mainly because Daisy kind of annoys me a little... and also because I like to read fics that are completed. I guess what annoys me about Daisy is that is seems like a lot of the effort put into the relationship is one sided... and while I know that the Hood men like a challenge, I feel like it's just all Adam giving and Daisy taking. It also really bothers me that whenever Estela views their relationship, it's like Daisy can do no wrong. Like Daisy's just a complex person. She has a past that's not easy to get over. Daisy's been through a lot. I think that Daisy needs to grow in order to really get in a relationship, a solid one, with Adam. She needs to get over her fears and realize that Adam hasn't even hurt her, really, and that he's the men in her past... and although that is acknowledged, I feel like it's not... really. I don't know if I'm explaining this right. I don't even know why I'm saying all this. Anyways. I liked Killing Models a lot. I hate it when guys cheat, and it absolutely killed me to see Caleb doing it (especially when his explanations were so shaky), but I think that of all the stories I've read, Caleb makes up for it the most. And for that, I'm not okay with it - cuz I'll never be okay with anyone cheating - but I can get over it. Sort of. The thing about Caleb's explanations that bothered me was that during the first counseling session with that Mr. Do do guy, Caleb was saying how the first kiss was just a hello kiss (um, hi. You don't give your ex-girlfriend/first love hello kisses...) and then the second kiss was where he was trying to see if he felt anything for Carmen. But when Caleb was giving Estela an explanation when she first returned to him, he said that the first kiss' purpose was to see if he felt anything for her, and he didn't. And then he just didn't know about the second kiss. So that really bothered me. It may have just been a mistake of the author, but just seeing Caleb's story change... I guess it made me uneasy. I don't know. It was just really irksome. But as I said, Caleb made up for it in the perfect ways. And I just think... his reaction to it all too. And especially when Estela came and found Carmen in the apartment, and his reaction to that too. And just... Adam. Was a gem. Really. He's my favorite character, which is probably why I will end up reading Hostile Kisses eventually, even though I know it'll probably be extremely frustrating with Daisy's personality, because he really is just... hot. Hilarious. Smexy. And he's the perfect big brother figure for Estela. I feel like Adam added a lot to this story. I also adored Moo in this story. She definitely made up for the last one. I don't know. I feel like this story as a whole was just really good. I was hooked from the very first chapter, which wasn't what happened for Killing Momzillas. This story had a direction, I suppose, and it never fully lost it. Plus, it was nice seeing Caleb & Estela finally married. I find it absolutely hilarious that they tried to run away from his bachelor party. A few discrepencies... chapter 9, you said Audrey is the same size as Daisy, but Daisy is 5'5, and Audrey is described as 5'. That's a pretty big difference :x I also think that the phrase "flush to his chest/body" became a little overused, throughout all of your stories. It's a good description but it somehow just kept striking me when you used it over and over and over. In chapter 21, the amount of time that Caleb & Estela were engaged seems a bit off. They say they've been engaged only for 2 1/2 months, but they were engaged before Moo's wedding, and before the planning for Moo's wedding started, which dates all the way back to February. But then when they're seeing the counselor in chapter 21, it's past Estela's birthday, which is June 15. Also in chapter 22, it says that a few months ago, Moo was trying to hook Stela up with other guys, but isn't 8 months of dating Caleb longer than just a few months? In chapter 23, the messages are off. There are 2 different dates for "today," and july 5th is a friday but july 6th is a monday. Also, I thought that when Estela first met Kyle, he said that he had a girlfriend, so how is he in love with Rebecca? And what happened to Trigger? I nearly died while reading the chapter where Estela turned herself in to Agent Ross, and then he kept telling her more info on the case as well, lol. I also didn't really think that Estela & Caleb necessarily needed the whole premarital counseling thing. They also seemed to kind of stop that after the first time with Dr. do do, even though they said they were look at some others as well. Milan is perfect. Caleb is... well, he's close to perfect. I want their relationship bad :( Haha. Moo is pretty much a star. I can't believe she showed up for the wedding even though she had already gone into labor. That's amazing. I want to cry that was so great of her. I'm REALLY looking forward to that book 5... :x I love these stories. I'm not quite ready to part with Estela & Caleb yet :( Great job :) I know it's odd, with me hating cheating and all, but I have this strange desire to go back and reread that part again... I mean. The aftermath. Ish. Yeah. Kay bye :) -- Alyssa |
| ashrebel 2007-12-25 ch 34, | abusei love these stories they were all awesome good work |
| DSLuverGurl123 2007-09-02 ch 34, | abuseIt was great! There weren't too many places with dry spots and I think I got all my constructive criticism in the other reviews. I have to tell you something. I think I'm in love with Caleb. He really is perfect. :) GREAT JOB! Please please please do another Estela/Caleb story. PLEASE! -Katherine |
| DSLuverGurl123 2007-09-02 ch 33, | abuseThat was exciting. And it's so cute that Estela's wedding anniversary/meeting Caleb anniversary is also the same date as her best friend's twins. Oh yea :) Also, one more thing. If you're going to submit this for publishing, I'd like to suggest one thing. Try reading this whole thing over, making notes while you go, so you don't have any character discrepancies (ex. Chris/John and Ben/Brian - Jake's sons) or anything else of the sort. Other than that and a few typos, I think it's ready for print. :) One more chapter, and then I'm off to read Daisy and Adam's story which I hope you'll update soon! And one more note. If you ever get the chance, I think that Sandy and Brian/Ben would make a cute story. -Katherine |
| DSLuverGurl123 2007-09-02 ch 31, | abuseAlmost done! :) So I was right after all (about Caleb's newphews' names). Killing Monsters, Chapter 21. "“Uncle Caleb, you’re supposed to be helping, not sitting on Miss Estela.” One of Jacob's twin boys said. I had been introduced to them on New Year’s Eve, but I couldn’t remember how to tell them apart, and they were dressed identically today. The boy's green eyes met mine briefly and then he smiled shyly. Ah, Chris. Chris was the twin that was more like Caleb, quiet and observant, the complete opposite of his louder, braver brother Ben, who came to his side. The twins stared at each other briefly before Ben put his hand on his hip and glared at Caleb." Yay for me not going crazy. Haha. Okay, off to finish it now :) -Katherine |
| DSLuverGurl123 2007-09-01 ch 24, | abuseHi still reading the fourth one. But something happened and it's really bothering me. Wasn't one of Jake's twin sons named Chris and not John? I don't know...I swore it was Chris... -Katherine |
