Silver Sunsets 2007-04-25 . chapter 1
Hm. A religious theme. I usually don't see that from you. Tell me...are you Jesse, the saved people, or the liquid silver voice with blue eyes?

Ever need to talk about this particular subject...you can come to me. I'd be glad to talk. (Not trying to push anything on you.)

This is very perceptive. It shows Jesse's inner conflicts about the need for salvation quite well. The fact that he so vigorously tries to save others from damnation and yet has these dreams about Hell and looks at sinners as though they are "filthy dogs" characterizes him thoroughly.

I wasn't sure if you'd intended this, but I noticed that you used blue and silver to characterize the young man at the Bars. I've read Dante's Inferno not long ago, in which the author writes about the lowest level of Hell as covered with ice because it's so far from God's warmth. The fact that you used these "cold" colors in characterizing the man from Jesse's dreams seems to add more depth to this story.

As always, very beautiful and well-written. : )
