Your sense of humour is right up my street and there were more lines in this that made me laugh than anything else 've read on Fictionpress so far :D. The ending was so sweet ^^, and the way you write is really excellent. The puns and references to various poets and plays throughout made me buzz, whatever that means. | b 2008-08-01 ch 1, | abuseholy hell! felt like i was reading harry potter ('cept with slash, i guess?), and that's a compliment. the writing's great, the dialogue flows really well (the voices are quite distinct), and the world you've painted is really cohesive. i loved the tongue-in-cheek references to other monsters. and i have a friend who's basically drake (european-ish, rich, gay, sharp dresser, speaks with a heavy accent, really sketchy when he wants to be) except for the vampire part. XD wish you could've taken more time for frank to realize his feelings, but otherwise the story's pace is excellent. i only started getting into vampire books this summer, and i started out with christopher moore's vampire comedies; this story follows in that vein, i suppose. ^_^ (vein! get it? btw, your puns were also ridiculous. omg. lmao) |
