This is a very good story, it reminds me of someone I actually know. Loving someone hated to feel something different. I love the description about the flavored words (cherry, slightly laced with mint) and it ties it together when you mention it again at the end. The only line I didn't get was the one about the sweet poison / seducing dance of slow death. It seemed a bit thick for the rest of the piece. The little snippets of what they are saying are also very good.
