very good analyzation of the film and its themes. Metropolis is one of my favorite movies, and it pleased me so much that they found the missing scences just recently. Finally we can enjoy herr Lang's complete vision.

Ironic that you should call the title this; couldn't one just as easily say, "Machine becomes man," or even more aptly yet, "Machine becomes woman" since that is, after all, well... not to spoil anything.

I really liked this; it made me want to go out and see this movie, it's sounds interesting. I agree with the theory as well.
