Okay, overall it was pretty good, but I was hoping for more of a fantasy story then a samurai one (considering I'm not really a fan of those).
Now, the plot itself was pretty good (I like the fact that the hero isn't almighty), though there were few things that didn't seem logical (I skip the usual fact that 'the bad guys' showed up only now, though the sword was there for ages), like that Gladiator telling Tenchi about the Spirit Link... theoretically it's common in manga, but considering we was so frightened by the Light Blade, why would he explained his opponent something like that, risking him actually using it and thus gaining adventage?
But as I thought, this story does have potencial. Revenger and all has been done over and over (in a way, the main hero of one of my stories is searching for it as well), but I'm wondering if Tenchi will meet some allies on the way.
I'll be looking out for the update.

Okay, I'm usually the type to give constructive criticism and point out things I see a miss in a story, but I must say that yours is REALLY good.
Althought it's just a prologue, I must say it made me glued to the screen. The idea itself is pretty original (very few things these days are, so just that fact is pretty admirable). Demon's in swords sounds cool (I had an idea for a similar stories, but in the end it's one of the ideas I probably won't use, so...).
One question though: does Gladiators have some special traits or anything that allow them to use those Demon Swords or does anyone who'd just pick up the sword and swing it would be capable of using its power? (perhaps I'll learn that in the next chapter, but just in case, I'm asking now).
The background story was really well thought. It's rare for a prologue or the opening to be this entertaining, so you get points from me for that as well.
Overall you did a great job on the prologue and I'll be sure to read the first chapter soon, so you can expect another review from me in a VERY near future.

Demons fused in swords and Gladiators wielding them...does this mean that only Gladiators can use them and not normal humans?
