hot damn. you should have called this 'plethora', both for the medical condition and the sheer excess of one note imagery. towards the end it gets a little incoherrant- which worked for this, it was like a slowdance spinning out of control- dizzying and beautiful.

Incredibly vivid. Your classic imagery shows this interesting entwining of body and berry that is a bit chilling. The double alliteration of "kick is killing her thick tongue" is wonderful. Good poem.

Bizarre and tragically vivid. Christian communion? I thought pomegranate may have been more fitting myself, but I know little about cranberries.

The imagery from the first four lines is just gorgeous and the ending sends a thrill through me. It's a little spooky almost but amazing.
