“What makes you unique? Write two pages creatively describing your mental self. Use vivid descriptions, metaphors, and superior vocabulary. Write a minimum of two pages.”...sounds like a vague prompt that my English teacher would assign. I can definitely relate to the difficulty of writing such an assignment.

“Cats are colorblind anyway.”...very, very catchy and effective phrase. It ends the story in a humorous and a kind of journalistic manner. But maybe you might want to identity the speaker directly before or after the quote so it doesn't look awkward on the page.
