You always did write good cliffhangers...

As far as story tone goes, this is beyond ANYTHING witnessed in Promises, and within the first chapter really takes the reader into Chloe's world, and makes them stew in mutual suffering with Chloe while awaiting the next installment... If 24 was a romantic drama instead of an action show, (alibit a VERY GOOD character driven action show) they should hire you as a writer. Epically with your prowess at the cliffhangers(which are very frequent in 24). Mind blowing work, Miomo.

Oh, me likes! It makes it so much more painful that she already has a bf, poor Oleg. Especially since he's 'perfect.' :(

The only thing I was confused about was the tense... it was predominately present tense, but it would switch back into past occasionally. No worries, it is easy to fix. I applaud you for writing in the present! It's hard because our minds are automatically in the past.

I am curious to see what will happen next! Is she going to get back with Oleg somehow (which would be hard to believe because she TOTALLY broke his heart) or will she fall in love with Jordan? Wow, it looks like a long way to liking Jordan... how will it happen? UPDATE!
