Erisah Mae 2007-09-16 . chapter 1I admire the subtlety of your work- the blend of metaphor and allusion to the Disney movie cause this retelling to be very interesting. It is obvious that you can express yourself, and I look forward to reading more of your work in the future.
Wow that sounded really pompous didn't it? I've been spending too much time around my textbooks, lol
Catchya later,

A.E. Waldo 2007-02-28 . chapter 1I like how you played with the story, and personally love retellings of classic fairy tales. What you have here is presicisely how a tale would have been told - simple and to the point. The irony is wonderful.
Just for fun (but mostly because I'm a dork), the version of Beauty and the Beast we're familar with today was written in the 18 century by a French noble woman who lost her fortune. She was a governess and wrote the tale as a lesson for her pupils. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose, but your retelling fits perfectly with this history.
Keep writing.
