Wonderful - so short and yet so deep. There is so much truth and spiritual wisdom in these lines, the meaning of winter, of reduction and new beginning applied to life. And yet it's so hard and frightening to let go of the old and start anew, isn't it? Hey, I've just noticed that this poem consists of two haikus as well. Really good job!
