I like the contrast here, because when I think of carpet rides, I think of really colorful scenes, & then there's "black and white thought explosions," which is a great phrase. Nicely done. Keep writing! :)

me again...long time no see, been away for awhile... It both contrasts and complements the last haiku (Depression). This one is more active, but the colors are more simple. I think of nightime when reading this, too, as opposed to morning in the other haiku. They fit well together though...ties between the titles, especially. Great haiku also.
