The crazy dominant characters don't usually change tune like that, but you usually write so that it's up to the reader to decide whether or not they actually went through with whatever crazy thing they're doing to the extent that their conterparts die. So I guess it could be an either-or kind of deal? That's what I see in your writing anyway. I can't speak for anyone else. Maybe I'm just seeing things, being weird, whatever. Point is: I really liked it. It was different and it had your flare for twists at the end. --Wings
