 nainai617 2008-01-09 . chapter 1 Love it! |
PunishmentX 2007-03-11 . chapter 4Morgues are scary places, and I can't think of anything scarier than a body freezer rattling because something inside it is moving! I got the creeps when you were talking about the gasses shooting out of his throat, that was twisted and I loved it. Can't wait to see what happens when the whole town collapses. Very nice work. |
PunishmentX 2007-03-11 . chapter 3The plot thickens... something escaped, huh? This is a new approach to a zombie outbreak, it's usually a virus or something. I like it. Can't wait to read on :) |
PunishmentX 2007-03-11 . chapter 2You've used an amazing writer's trick here. You set everything up and leave it to the reader to essentially think like the police, and decide for themselves what happened. The girl being dead longer than the victims, the pen in her eye that destroyed the brain... it suggests that she was dead, yet still attacked and had to be killed. I love it when they try to explain everything with science, but it doesn't make any sense. I'm just wondering, are the other bodies going to get up? I better keep reading :) |
PunishmentX 2007-03-11 . chapter 1I loved the bloody footprints leading away from where a body was laying, that was awesome! I LOVE zombie stories! I also love how you set the scene up, with all the half eaten bodies laying everywhere... perfect for a zombie story. I'm loving it so far, great job. |
 young-e89 2007-03-10 . chapter 4Great story! |
Robert Ryan 2007-03-09 . chapter 1Thanks for your comments. Actually, Dr. Liberty isn't a main character, he only appears in the prologue and maybe a few times after. And his name is a nod to Richard Liberty, who played Dr. Logan in George Romero's Day of the Dead. :D |
Clico78 2007-03-08 . chapter 1This is a very intense prologue. I like the raw use of detail, namely the reference to slasher movies. The only thing that somewhat bothered me was the main doctors name, Dr. Liberty. No offense it sounds kind of cheesy. But overall, this was very nice.
