Beautifully done! AND Best Wishes!

I am going to add this to my C2!

(TSP)
Ivory Taint 2007-03-12 . chapter 1
This was unbelievably sweet of you. And I couldn't believe you this morning! "I would have posted it at home but I didn't have time." You didn't even have to give me a present; much less give it by a certain time! Silly Willy! :p Sometimes you inspire me to be a better person.

Somehow, you knew (in no order):

1. I love free verse.
2. I think death is one of the most interesting topics because no one knows what comes after it.
3. I love imagery.
4. I love poems that tell stories.
5. I love things that make you think.
6. I love reading works that rock. (Yes, this was something I squeezed in to make it an even-numbered list.) :p

Okay, I love this poem so much; I'm giving out awards for it! I will call them the FOO awards! (Ooh I like that! I'm a genius! :p )

Best Stanza:

Winner: Stanza Three.
First Runner Up: Stanza Two.
Second Runner Up: Stanza Six.

Best Line:

Winner: A face is more important than regret.
First Runner Up: Into the dreamless eye of morn.
Second Runner Up: And ears bent open, listening to your soul.

Coolest Word Choice:

Winner: painted looks/darkened homes (sorry, couldn't choose)
First Runner Up: fleeting pause
Second Runner Up: twittering tongue

Thing I Liked Best:

Winner: You obviously put thought into this.
First Runner Up: It flowed with eloquence yet it didn’t seem as though you tried too hard.
Second Runner Up: One word—imagery.

I apologize to all stanzas, lines, words, and ideas that did not receive an award. If you are still pissed about it, consider the nomination an honor. I didn't HAVE to nominate you, now DID I?! :p

Congratulations to the winners. Now, I’m afraid our allotted show time has run out. Neves out. -Waves-
