I love this poem! It is sinister and sweet at the same time. Well, sort of sweet. Hmm... Let's just go with 'good.'

Such vivid imagery.
I loved the description of the dreams escaping and pervading.
And the ending was so dramatic and somewhat biting, that I couldn't help laughing.
I loved reading this.

And it reminds me of the nightmares of my childhood.

Incredibly true. I hate it when people use the word "Just". Just a dream. Just a nightmare. Just life. Just a broken heart. Just a lost friend. Just invisible to everyone around you. Just going slowly insane.

Yeah, yeah. I think that dreams are a part of reality that we weren't willing to admit to when we were awake. Either that or they're just disgustingly thoughts that run through my head. Lol. Someday I will introduce you to my dreams. I like that. I thought of it and a girl asked me in a review once what my biggest fear was (I was kind of mean then and I laughed and said "like I'd tell her") and recently I thought I'm afraid of my dreams. Lol. You'd think it was weird if you didn't know what I dream about. And simce I'm not going to tell you, you aren't going to know. Lol. Well, goodbye. I'm just being chatty. (As usual. Yikes for you guys.)

I really like this piece too. I completely agree with you. You sleep like, what? One third of your life? Hence you live in your dreams for one third of your life. And for one third of your life, dreams seem real. They are real. Anyway, sorry, I'm ranting now... This was really well written, and you portrayed a nightmare nicely. I especially love the last 8 lines. Excellent job!
