Been meaning to review this for a while...
So as far as I gather, this little masterpiece takes second place to Textbook. Without being mean to Textbook, which is good, sometimes great, I don't think it compares to this at all. The characters are so much stronger, the plot is snappier, basically everything is better over here. I honestly could see this getting published (if you got round to finishing it - hint hint) and it is most definitely one of the top five fics on fictionpress, more likely the top three. Give it a chance, huh? :)

i really like this story! I think Van is a great character, because although he appears really threatening, and has been deemed insane, he seems to really know what he's doing. Like if he had worked for the CIA? I like Cody a lot too, especially how he's really good at his work, and we saw that professional side of him, and then we saw his personal life too. I really like the way you incorporated both of those aspects into the story. And I'm really curious as to how Van lost an eye.

I'm digging the story, and I can't wait to read the next chapter!
