I like how Izuri and Layette meet, and how though it seems that Izuri has fallen in love with her, he rejects the idea of an aranged marrige (of course) even though his betrothed is the girl he likes, (though he doesn't know that. It is also interesting to note that these are winged people, but I didn't see any action of flying, which I would assume is their normal mode of travel.
