I read this and felt happy but sad at the same time for i don't want that to happen...

To be honest, I don't think there's enough in each stanza/couplet to get the message across before you introduce another idea. It's like chewing something really tastry but being made to swallow before you've really enjoyed it.

This poem is... beautiful.

The words used help provide a good imagery and the rhyming portrays a childlike way of thinking, perhaps the idealistic way we should live to achieve happiness.
