I love how you've written this so that it is both well told, like a true faerie tale, and yet often hilarious and modern. Again, Sleeping Beauty is much preferable like this, and you've certainly done a good job of describing the drawbacks of her situation! Near the end, though, your writing falters, perhaps drawing more on humor than on concentration. Maybe it's just the fact that you started a sentence with "also," but the story suddenly becomes from Briar Rose's point of view and, by the way, her name changes! The thought of her beginning on a mission is a nice one, but it doesn't seem to fit, for some reason. Still, I loved it! And, if you don't mind, I'm putting this in my C2 of fractured faerie tales.
