| Hannah C. Thaw 2008-05-15 ch 3, | I like this it is interesting. And different. It reminds me of a comic book. Which isn't back, I just get the whole dark and gloomy city thing. In my mind I am picturing the Nephilim as a character in a movie preview I saw. It is for a movie called The Spirit. Watch the preview and tell me if my image is close. Good job! |
| kaitlyn 2008-05-11 ch 1, | please, please, please post the next chapter. this is amazing. i love it. again, you're amazing, and keep up the good work. kaitlyn |
| kate 2008-04-17 ch 2, | the depth already developed in these two chapters has captured me. i love they style of your writing and the development of the plot. there was a lot of info in those 2 chapters but it didnt feel rushed at all. i do hope you will decide to continue this piece, i really feel it has a lot of potential. i havent really got anything much constructive to say other than i really enjoyed both those chapters. :) |
| Mack 2008-04-11 ch 2, | I am still in awe with your writing, its really quite brilliant you really have to update this story, I'll be reading |
| Venus Smurf1 2008-03-03 ch 4, | Intriguing story. You have an incredible writing style--terse at times, but all the more powerful for it. I'm already completely fascinated, and I hope you update soon. This story is wonderful, and I need more! |
| Essie 2007-12-04 ch 4, | I just found your fic! I can't believe there are only a few reviews. This story is excellent. I love the intrigue, the depth of the characters and the potential intricate relationships between them. Also not to mention the superpowers thing. It's kind of creepy. Actually to tell you the truth, I might not have reviewed because there really isn't much constructive criticism to give except to say I like it!. I was kind of expecting some halfassed attempt by a teenager to deal with the issue of rape but this is such an "intelligent" story. I don't know if that makes sense but after reading some of the most silliest pieces of writing (and not silly as in oh how amusingly funny) but silly as in ohgod high school musical 2 on screen. I hope you will update!! |
| Ainur Agar 2007-05-06 ch 1, | ah these all sound so good! especally because you told me about them last night, I'll proabably read them tomorrow and leave a review on all the other chapters, kay? |
| Faster-than-without-water 2007-05-03 ch 3, | Nice update. |
| Cthulhu Is An Awesome God 2007-04-25 ch 3, | This looks like its going to be a very inrigueing story. A couple of questions though. Firstly, what's the deal with the names. Baron Samedi is the Vodun god of death and graveyards, not a villanous serial rapist and crime lord. He can fight, but he's not inherently evil. Elizabeth Bathory was a Transylvanian serial killer Baroness who bathed in the blood of 600 young girls in order to achieve eternal youth. Not my idea of a sympathetic heroine. Nephilim is actually plural, the Hebrew word for the giant offspring of men and fallen angels. I like the general set up of the book though. The idea of witnessing a super hero from the side lines is pretty unique, and the powers of Nephilim and the main character are very unique and cool. Nephilim in particular seems to be based off of the Shadow or the Spider or other pulp heroes, mixed with modern Defenders of Justice like Superman. The snake, Gorm, is a good sidekick too. Is he based on Garm, the Norse watchdog of the Gates of Hel, or the Gorm the Old, the Swede king? And Elizabeth's brothers, Jakob and Adder (wierd name, do they come to their sister's wedding? And what happens to them? I figured one of them would have a romance with the narrator. I look forward to reading more of this. |
| Willoughby Spit 2007-04-02 ch 2, | Whoa... this story is seriously cool. Freaky, but awesome. |
