hey hey hey! :]

just wanted to let you know that i liked your poem. i really liked it because after a while, it gets kind of boring reading about the "dangerously handsome goth" who has the lip piercing and the sweet side and this was a welcome change. :] and yup, some of the girls at my school are convinced they're in love, but they fall so quickly in and out of love that i don't think they understand quite what they're saying when they say ily because they treat it as if it doesn't matter but those three words are so powerful and should only be used when the person means them and understands them.

anyways, wow this is super long. but i just wanted to say that i strongly liked (notice how i'm not using love...hahahah) your poem and its message.

Naw, this wasn't pathetic. now what IS pathetic is that I'm 13 and I hear girls in my grade (8th grade, I'm just kinda young for my grade) saying how in love they are with their boyfriends who they've been dating for about two weeks. It really ** me off, so if you think fifteen year olds saying that they're in love is bad, how about 13 year olds?

Well, I don't think it was lame. I liked it, actually. And for the record, I totally agree with what you said. I suppose I'm a cynic too, and well, I scoff at many couples at my school. Especially when they flaunt their PDA. I don't know, maybe I'm jealous, but I honestly don't see the point in many young relationships. Experiences, I guess, but I don't believe most of them will last. And maybe they're just in it for the fun, but I really don't understand how playing with emotions is fun. It's not my idea of it, for sure.

Sorry, I kind of went off on a tangent. I tend to ramble (when I write), if you couldn't tell.

I like this poem, even if you don't. I can relate to this and it made me reflect, which was something I needed. Great job.
