I like this, rice gods and changelings, all shiny. You’ve done a great job with your characters so far and the writing itself it easy to get caught in. I just read it straight through, without pausing once, which is very rare for me, as I am easily distracted. Ari and Asha had some good dialogue, and I like the little problem with the boy/girl mix-up.

I’ve tried writing changeling stories before, but I never know what to do after the baby is taken. So, I obviously don’t get far. I look forward to seeing what you do with this. Good luck.
