This was so real...it wasn't overly dramatic or angsty or anything ucky like that. You did an awesome job making it something people can relate too. Good job! :)

For some reason, this piece has a melancholy (urk, couldn't spell that) feel to it, especially towards the end. Maybe it's the best-friend/more-than sort of thing, I don't know, but I did like this.

This oneshot was quite different. Though i was hoping for something more in the end, something more dramatic or angsty but your ending makes it much more realistic. I cant help but wonder what happens later on with these two, they seem pretty perfect for each other no?

Wow so original, don't think I read something like it before...ever! I wish there was more but it's very good as a stand alone also.

My best friend literally said the same thing (the first bit, anyway) to me today, so this is kinda kismet. Now if only my friend and I weren't too dang prideful to actually talk about why we get PO'd at each other constantly, life would be grand. Great story!

I was going to ask what this has to do with Romance but then I read your author's note. Hm. Underlying theme? As in our loved ones are the people who truly know our true self, or at least, mostly, but accept us anyway. They don't judge us. Am I right? Is that the underlying theme(s)? If so, I completely agree. Whether you like it or not, you have at least two masks; one reserved for the confines of your home, the other for your public life. Private and public. Gah, I feel like I'm lecturing. I better stop.

Loved this fic! I especially loved that there was no physical romantic involvement yet there is romance present there, if we think about it or choose to accept that. Cool!

Keep up the good work!

I like it. Interesting to place it under Romance. It's like you're using those "underlying themes" as a third character.
