| Crepusculum 2007-05-01 ch 1, | I love this. It flows so smoothly. And the imagery is simply wonderful. I love the mention of phoenix because I love phoenixes, but the first line was also superb - "a daisy in a field of ashes" - I love the picture it paints in my mind. My favourite line, however, is this: "how could it be any other way?" I don't know, it's just said so simply, so serenely but with such certainty that I can't but agree that no, it couldn't be any other way. :) Beautiful poem, really! :D |
