| Pandaemonic Paradigm 2007-03-25 ch 1, | abuseThis is unique and out of nowhere. The final italicized bit makes me think of the sphinx's riddle to Oedipus, lol. The parenthetical statement makes me think song-ish, which I was already semi-think because the first line made me think Bones by The Killers... A song I really don't think I understand and/or like. Mainly because of nonsensicality, but yours seems more sensical. Okay, I'm rambling. Anyway, your poem. I like it, but I don't know what the underlying issue is. Why the dead guy (metaphor or not?) is angry. However, the word 'prophet' gives it religious connotation... In the end, I don't understand the poem, but I like its sentiments and imagery. |
