Nice! I like this. I can't remember if I've left you a review before, but needless to say I love your work. I wish I could write like you; write for people and people who appreciate.
I like the idea of wooden ideas. I see it as raw ideas, those you haven't made anything out of yet. Ideas that lead to more sophisticated ones. Keep writing, you're gifted. ~ Snowglobe

Holy, holy imagery. I really enjoyed this... I'm not a great critic at this ungodly hour, but I did love this poem and your use of language. Bien hecho!

This is stunning Unca! I'm getting a sense of wanting perfection in this poem, or something stable to hold onto, or even both. Gorgeous. HXI

I deeply enjoyed all of the literary jewels about water. I think as poets we go through stages with the elements and water has always been a favorite of mine to play with. Whales are strange creatures. At once both fragile and frightening. And this girl that you capture is like a mirmaid-ballarina fish woman from the depths. I can see her dancing on seasheels, not caring about wheather of not she cuts her feet on the edges. The whole poem was dazzling. You're eye for detail always amazes me.

Much love,
Juliet.

lol your summary's hilarious. i miss chatting w/ you...you always had the weird but in a good way funny insights. anyway, about the poem - whales...is there somehow inspired by joanna newsom? i remember seeing "walnuts and whales" somewhere - i think it was a n album title. i'm so off topic but oh well. this really spoke to me...b/c the whole idea of boundaries and going over the line. it's like childhood and hopscotch. your writing makes me go on tangents!! i swear! anyway, big dead dictionary - it's true though after awhile words change and their meanings change. very thought provoking imagery here. nice work :)
