The narrative was intense and haunting, and your main character was tragically human, not an absurdly heroic piece of fiction that one often sees in Holocaust works. Also, the plotline was quite original, which was refreshing. In fact, the only thing I did not like was the title. For several days I did not read your story because I thought it would be cliché. After I read it, it became apparent that my first impression was wrong; however, I would suggest changing the title to better reflect the heartbreaking and startlingly well-written narrative that it refers to. |
