| failte200 2007-04-03 ch 1,   | Sigh. That was beautiful in it's way. It's "way", though - the harsh reality of things We Never Talk About... is not happy, fluffy, and pink. If I want to read Harsh Reality, I'll get a newspaper. I read fics in order to make-believe there's a world where people DON'T age, and NO ONE's ugly, and Bad Things don't happen to Good People. Where romance only dies in order to be re-born stronger. Sigh. Basically, yeah - excellent job highlighting one of the harshest, most shallow realities of life. But I REALLY don't like reading about that... Is there no hope? That's all I ask for in something like this... just let me believe there's some kind of HOPE. The both of them retreating into fantasy is not "hope". |
| Taltush/MeiMei 2007-03-28 ch 1, | This was kind of creepy, but kind of interesting too. It's not exactly a typical story, which is nice. I didn't really like the double "??" everywhere, but I guess that's just your style. It kind of kept on distracting me. Other than that, this is well-done. |
